AKL online check-in
Has anyone used this service yet? According to allears.net, you would be able to check in up to 10 days prior to visit. It was supposed to go live 2/09. We'll be staying there 6/09.

We love Animal Kingdom Lodge, but if you're looking for a cheaper option, consider staying off-property at hotels near Disney World. By staying off-site, you can save a lot of money on your Disney vacation.
We haven't used it yet, but I've been reading on other message boards that people are having no problem (maybe a few bugs here and there, but no real issues).
We'll keep an eye out for more AKL online check-in information for you! :-)
Thanks for the check in info. On the disney website, when you click on "my vacation" and then click on "my reservations", it brings up the page to check in up to 10 days prior to visit.
We were hoping that the online checkin would let us get off the Magical Express at AKL on day of arrival and then board the next bus to the parks :) bypassing the check in kiosk until later. Well, I guess we'd have to stop at bell services and drop off our carry-ons first... sigh.
Hmmm... I wonder if we just had a back pack or two, could we just get on the ME bus from the airport and head for the MK area resorts instead of AKL. Then use the lockers to store our stuff when we get to MK...
WAIT! Can't do that - must pick up park tix first :O
Ha ha!! So much planning to be done! I think ME might only take groups to certain resort areas, meaning that your bus might be scheduled to go only to the Animal Kingdom resort area (CSR and AKL) instead of to the MK resort area. So that would foil your plan if that's the case!
Can you pick up park tix at guest relations in the park, or do you have to do it at check-in (are the tix still on your room key?)?
Can anyone tell me what time check in is and what time check out is please? Also the process for trying to extend check out time?
