Concierge amenities
So we're going to try Concierge for the first time in September. This will be our 5th time to AKL, and the hotel is the best part of the trip IMO. SOoo, with that said, the little things really matter to me. I've asked in various places if concierge offers anything extra in the room itself, such as better toiletries, big robes you normally get in other hotels, bigger rooms, etc. I know about the concierge lounge, and the food and drink sounds like it's going to be fabulous and a really nice perk. How does turndown service work at AKL? Do you just request it daily?
Any bells and whistles you can tell me about would be appreciated. The little details are what get me excited.

Unfortunately, we've never stayed concierge and can't speak to everything (Tikiman Steve Seifert was kind enough to donate his concierge pics to the site!), but the photos have some great shots of the rooms.

As for turndown, I believe you request it. I'll do some research and find out for certain!
