Different animals on different savannas?

I'm so excited!!! We're thinking of going to AKL next year!!! Are all the animals on all of the savannas, or do they only have certain ones in certain places? If we want to see giraffes, do we have to be facing a certain savanna?

Hi there! Congrats on your trip--I hope you choose to stay at AKL!

To answer your question, not all savannas are created equal. Several species of birds are only found on one or two savannas, and we've only seen Ostriches on the Sunset Savanna. Giraffe can be found on all three savannas, and we have seen Zebra on both the Sunset and Arusha Savannas (though while AKL is moving animals around during the construction of Kidani Village, this could change). Also, don't forget that the flamingos can only be found in the flamingo pond near the Uzima Springs Pool.

I think sunset savanna was to close today. Anyone see animals on the savanna today?

I believe they are gone until Mid-April. Yikes!
