The Pools of Animal Kingdom Lodge

Uzima Springs Pool

As we head into the hot and humid days of the Florida summer, it seems like a good time to visit the pools of Animal Kingdom Lodge. These grand watering holes are the perfect place to sun yourself, grab a refreshing drink, and of course swim!

The Uzima Springs Pool may be one of most gorgeous pool areas on Disney property. The area includes a large, free-form, zero-entry swimming pool with a 67-foot water slide, a children’s wading pool, two Jacuzzi hot tubs, and the Uzima Springs Pool Bar.

There pool deck area features comfortable lounge chairs and several tables with umbrellas located around the pool, and there are unlimited towels and life jackets to guests using the pool.

The Uzima Springs Pool is located on ground floor of the Zebra Trail and is surrounded by the hotel’s arcade, spa and fitness center, and restaurants with outdoor seating for the Mara located pool side.

One rule guests should know when it comes to the Uzima Springs Pool: Due to the close proximity of Uzima Springs to the Uzima Savanna there is no pool hopping allowed. This rule is meant to ensure the safety and security of the animals that make their home on the savanna.

The Samawati Springs Pool is located at the Kidani Village. The 4,700 square-foot, zero-entry pool features a 128-foot water slide, and the nearby Uwanja Camp water playground with three spalsh zones for kids of all ages.

Guests at the Samawati Springs Pool can also enjoy the Maji Pool Bar where you can order drinks, snacks, and the famous Bento Boxes.

No matter which pool you’re visiting at Animal Kingdom Lodge you’re going to have a great time. It’s the perfect way to stay cool!
