Where to buy Alcohol?

Are there any stores that sell bottles of wine or liquor at the AKL?
I am using Magical Express and do not have a rental. I definately don't want to risk packing any.
I could imagine that is would pretty relaxing watching the animals while having a nice glass of wine on the balcony.

Absolutely. You can purchase wonderful South African wines and other alcohol products at The Mara (quick-service dining in Jambo House), Zawadi Marketplace, and Johari Treasures in Kidani Village.

Any idea if Mara has liquors too? I'd like to grab a bottle of Bourbon, but I'm in the same boat... don't want to pack it, and not renting a car.

Mara does have wine and might also sell liquor. If you can't find it there, you can find it at Zawadi or Johari!
