A savanna resident

A brand new tour is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Reservations open April 5 for the Sense of Africa Tour. This 3 and 1/2 hour tour will give guests a chance to experience all of their senses during a meal at Boma and a tour of the savannas.

The tour will take place on Tuesdays and Saturdays beginning April 9 and includes a “backstage peek at the care, feeding, well-being and social interactions of the resident animals.”

The Sense of Africa tour begins with a unique twist on breakfast at Boma which will engage guests’ senses of taste and smell. Guests will also have a chance to touch the food selections for the red river hogs.

This tour is $249 per person and reservations can be made by calling 407-939-8687. You don’t need to be a guest at the AKL to take the tour.
