While the main pool at Jambo House , Uzima Springs, is a major draw for guests at Animal Kingdom Lodge, the pool at Kidani Village also packs quite a punch! Samawati Springs, as it is known, opened in spring 2009.
Here are the major features of Samawati Springs:
Zero-entry main pool: Much like Uzima Springs, the main pool at Samawati is also a zero-entry pool. There’s something very soothing about walking into a pool the same way you would walk into a tropical sea. It’s 4,700 square feet of relaxation!
Water slide: The slide here is 128 feet long! Wheeeeeeeeeee! (splash!)
Camp Uwanja kids water play area: This is a feature not available at Uzima Springs. There’s kid-size water slides, water cannons, water jets, wading pools, and even two fun snakes that shoot water!
Jacuzzi hot tubs: Two hot tubs are available for your soaking enjoyment. Ahhhhhh.
Maji pool bar: Grab-and-go offerings such as a club sandwich, caesar salad with tandoori chicken, and fruit cups can be found here, as well as all sorts of alcoholic and non-alcoholic concoctions — on the rocks or frozen.
